[Psalm 37:3-4] Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. [4] Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires.
God promises to direct us when we put Him FIRST.
[Romans 12:2] Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
If we are synced up to the WORLD we are out of sync with GOD.
[Proverbs 14:12] There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.
A DESIRE without ACTION accomplishes nothing.
[Matthew 7:24-27] "Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. [25] Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won't collapse because it is built on bedrock. [26] But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn't obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. [27] When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash."
You can't say you want to be in SYNC with God, and then IGNORE His Word.
If you want to know God's PLAN, you have to know His WORD.
[1 Corinthians 2:9] That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."
When things appear to be OUT of control you can be sure that GOD is still in control.
[Proverbs 3:5-10] Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. [6] Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. [7] Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. [8] Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. [9] Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. [10] Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
Don't trust YOURSELF when you could be trusting in GOD.
