Generosity is the key to unlocking God's BLESSINGS in your life.
[Proverbs 11:24] Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.
God invites us to test Him with our GENEROSITY.
[Malachi 3:10-11] Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! [11] Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
God PROMISES to bless those who live generously!
[Luke 6:38 NIV] Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
[2 Corinthians 8:2] They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity.
Generosity brings JOY.
[2 Corinthians 8:3] For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will.
Generosity is SUPERNATURAL.
[2 Corinthians 9:6] Remember this--a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
[2 Corinthians 8:4-5] They begged us again and again for the privilege of sharing in the gift for the believers in Jerusalem. [5] They even did more than we had hoped, for their first action was to give themselves to the Lord and to us, just as God wanted them to do.
Generosity is VOLUNTARY.
[2 Corinthians 9:7] You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. "For God loves a person who gives cheerfully."
Generosity is a response to the HOLY SPIRIT.
[James 1:17 CSB] Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
It is impossible to be in SYNC with God and NOT be generous.
