Expect the Unexpected

[Proverbs 19:21] You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail.

Life's detours are part of a GREATER plan.

[Ephesians 3:20] Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Our VISION is limited, but God's isn't.

[John 16:33] I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world."

God is PRESENT in every UNEXPECTED situation.

[Philippians 3:13-14] No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, [14] I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

God is in CONTROL even when things seem unpredictable.

[2 Corinthians 2:11] so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.

The New Year may be unpredictable, but our God is UNCHANGING.

[Psalm 115:3] Our God is in the heavens, and he does as he wishes.

God's is our ANCHOR in life's unexpected situations.

[Isaiah 41:10] Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
