[Matthew 6:9-13 NIV] "This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, [10] your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. [11] Give us today our daily bread. [12] And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. [13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'

We have an ENEMY who wants to DESTROY us.

[1 Peter 5:8] Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

God has made us VICTORS not VICTIMS.

[2 Thessalonians 3:3] But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.

God alone can GUARD us from the attacks of the evil one.

[1 John 4:4] But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

VICTORY is ours through Jesus Christ.

[1 John 2:14] I have written to you who are God's children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in the faith because you are strong. God's word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one.

God's WORD in your heart will help you win the BATTLE against the evil one.

God is never taken by SURPRISE by the issues you face.

[1 John 5:4-5 NIV] for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. [5] Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
