For Such A Time As This

Sermon Notes

[Esther 1:1] These events happened in the days of King Xerxes, who reigned over 127 provinces stretching from India to Ethiopia.

Sometimes God puts us in POSITIONS we never expected for His greater purpose.

[Esther 4:13-14] Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: "Don't think for a moment that because you're in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. [14] If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?"

Courage isn’t the ABSENCE of fear; it’s choosing to do what’s right despite the FEAR.

[Joshua 1:9] This is my command--be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

God is always WORKING, even when He seems INVISIBLE.

[Isaiah 59:1] Listen! The LORD's arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call.

God never CLOCKS out.

[Isaiah 55:8-9] "My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. [9] For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

You are WHERE you are for such a TIME as this.
